Mulenga Mubanga: Icon of Zambia’s modelling

Hello there,

When you write about someone you have actually never met, life takes a different dimension!  And that’s how it really feels for me Mutimba!!

I have been following Mulenga Mubanga since Chasema Media put her into the public spotlight.  I ahve tried to keep track of each and every public event she has attended.  At one point, my anxious wife asked what it was about Mulenga Mubanga that I thought I liked so much!

Answers were not hard in coming.  I told her that Mulenga was not only a fashion icon, but also a beauty model who presented both opportunities and challenges to local beauties.

Things seem to be changing though.  I notice when one goes to mulengamubanga.com, the page is re-directed to the Livingstone 2009 Calender project.  I am not sure if a Mulenga Mubanga will ever be restored.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that she does not slip into oblivion
